KILLINGLY — Michael Carroll placed seventh and Wheeler High earned one win in an ECC boys cross country tri-meet on Tuesday.

Carroll covered the 3.1-mile course in 19:35.

Wheeler lost to Waterford, 16-47, and Woodstock, 18-45, but beat Killingly, 15-50. Killingly had just two runners.

Other scorers for Wheeler were Ben Dobley (32nd, 23:21), David Anderson (33rd, 23:23), Michael O'Gara (40th, 26:48) and Ruy Fernandez-Autran (45th, 29:21).

Wheeler next hosts Lyman Memorial and New London on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
