LEBANON, Conn. — Lyman Memorial limited Wheeler High to 20 points in the first half and defeated the Lions, 81-37, in an ECC Division IV boys basketball game Monday night.

Lyman (1-0) led 41-20 at the half.

Ian Spracklin led the Lions in scoring with 12 points, all on 3-pointers. Wheeler coach Neal Cobleigh said his team did not move the ball well on offense or defend well inside.

Wheeler (1-1, 0-1 ECC Division IV) travels to Plainfield on Friday at 7 p.m.
