THOMPSON, Conn. — Tourtellotte limited Wheeler High to just four points in the third quarter and defeated the Lions, 68-51, in an ECC Division IV boys basketball game Friday night.

Wheeler trailed by 11, 37-26, at the half before the Tigers' third-quarter outburst.

Wheeler coach Neal Cobleigh said the Lions did not move the ball well on offense and had some defensive breakdowns.

Bowen Baker led the Lions in scoring with 22 points, including three 3-pointers. Michael Warren added 13 points.

Tourtellotte moved to 3-3, 1-1 ECC Division IV. Wheeler (3-3, 0-2) next travels to St. Bernard on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game.
