WESTERLY — Westerly High will face Mt. Hope on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at East Greenwich in the boys state basketball tournament.

Westerly is the No. 7 seed, while Mt. Hope is seeded 10th. Seedings for the tournament are based on regular-season league wins and victories in the divisional tournaments.

Westerly (18-5) finished 15-3 in the regular season, but lost to East Greenwich in its Division II opener. EG defeated Narragansett for the Division II title on Sunday with a banked 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Mt. Hope (21-4) was 15-3 during the regular season in Division III. The Huskies beat Toll Gate, 54-50, for the D-III crown on Sunday.

The winner will face No. 2 North Kingstown or No. 15 Ponaganset on Sunday at CCRI-Warwick. NK defeated Bishop Hendricken, 64-60, for the D-I title on Sunday.
