THOMPSON, Conn. — Tourtellotte scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth and beat Wheeler High, 6-5, in an ECC Division IV baseball game on Wednesday.

Wheeler (2-3, 2-1 ECC Division IV) had taken a 5-2 lead with three runs in the top of the ninth. Aidan Cameron hit a two-out double to drive in the three runs in the inning.

But the Tigers pushed across four runs in the bottom half for the win. None of the Tourtellotte runs were earned.

The game was tied at 2-2 after seven innings.

Bowen Baker pitched the first six innings striking out 12 with one walk. Reliever Lukas Jones took the loss.

Baker also had two hits and scored three times.

Tourtellotte is 2-2, 2-0 ECC Division IV. Wheeler next travels to Stonington on Thursday at 4 p.m.
