DANIELSON — Ellis Tech scored three runs in the fifth inning and three more in the sixth to shut out Wheeler High, 6-0, in a nonleague baseball game Tuesday.

Wheeler's Eric Henderson was 2 for 3. Starter Justin Veal struck out six and took the loss.

Ellis Tech improved to 11-7. Wheeler (4-10) next hosts Griswold on Thursday at 4 p.m.
