WESTERLY — St. Raphael Academy scored five unearned runs and beat Westerly High, 8-3, in a Division II baseball game Monday at Cimalore Field.

Westerly led 2-1 after four innings, but St. Raphael (9-2, 9-2 Division II) scored three runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth to pick up the win.

Greg Gorman was 2 for 4 with an RBI, and Matt Brissette also drove in a run. Brissette pitched the first five innings allowing four runs, one earned, to take the loss.

Westerly (8-4, 7-4) next travels to St. Raphael on Wednesday. First pitch is at 4:30 p.m.
