WOOD RIVER JCT. — Chariho High used nine pins and a forfeit to defeat North Providence, 60-22, in a Division I wrestling match Thursday night.

Devin Shaw had the quickest Chariho pin of the night, taking his bout at 220 pounds in 56 seconds.

Others with pins were Wade Husing (106, 5:13); Tyler Dumas (132, 3:11); Kyle Merritt (138, 3:31); Dominic Bonanno (152, 1:43); James Dougherty (160, 3:24); Ben Dougherty (170, 1:14); Cam Anderson (182, 1:59); and Nate Marchione (195, 1:02).

Mike Phelps won by forfeit at 285.

North Providence dropped to 3-3, 3-3 Division I.

Chariho (9-1, 4-0 Division I) next hosts Bishop Hendricken on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
