LINCOLN — Chariho High collected four pins but lost to Lincoln, 48-30, on Thursday in a Division I wrestling meet, its last of the regular season.

Allie Nelson (138 pounds, 4:38), Kyle Merritt (145, :43), Dominic Bonanno (152, 1:02) and James Dougherty (182, :56) each registered pins for the Chargers (13-13-1, 5-9 Division I).

Lincoln (14-10, 5-9) had four pins, won twice by decision and received three forfeits.

Chariho's varsity doesn't wrestle again until the state championships on Feb. 29.

"It's a good time to get healthy and not get bit by the sickness bug," coach Scott Merritt said. "Just a good time to recuperate."
