WOOD RIVER JCT. — The Chariho High unified volleyball team defeated Middletown, 2-1, in a Southern Division match Wednesday. The game scores were 25-20, 25-19, 11-25.

"The whole team did an outstanding job," Chargers coach Gabriella Dadamio said. "We have a lot of new people on the team and they all work extremely well together."

Chariho (3-1, 3-1 Southern Division) next plays at North Kingstown on Friday at 4 p.m.
