WESTERLY — Abby Cole and Elizabeth LaCroix each won a race as the Chariho High girls track team picked up a pair of Southern Division wins in a quad-meet Tuesday at Westerly High.

Cole won the 1,500 (5:11.3) and LaCroix was first in the 3,000 (11:06.5).

Chariho beat Narragansett, 105-45, and Prout, 94-48, but lost to Westerly, 75.5-73.5.

Margaret Weeden won the high jump (4-6) and was third in the triple jump (27-6.5).

Alison Klein finished second in the triple jump (27-8) and the high jump (4-2) and tied for second in the 100 hurdles (18.7).

Anna LaCroix placed second in the 1,500 (5:12.1) and third in the 800 (2:34).

Second-place finishers were Katie Taylor, hammer (70-3); Julia Fortune, 3,000 (11:13.4); Anabelle Pezzullo, discus (66-5); and Tai Graham, 100 hurdles (18.7).

Third-place finishers were Tia Sardell, 400 (64.1); Samantha Snyder, hammer (64-1); Cassie Simpson, discus (64-10); and Julianne Wood, javelin (64-7).

Grace Abbott, Spencer Shiels, Graham and Lianna Kissinger placed second in the 4x100 relay (54.7).

Cordelia Calverson, Rebekah Sullivan, Mallory Scherza and Anna Golas finished second in the 4x400 (5:10).

Chariho next competes in the Injury Fund relays on Thursday at Bishop Hendricken at 4 p.m.
