JOHNSTON — Spencer Shiels scored two goals and Anabelle Pezzullo had two assists as Chariho High picked up its first Division II girls soccer win of the season, 6-0, against winless Johnston on Monday.

Tia Sardelli contributed a goal and an assist for Chariho (1-1, 1-1 Division II).

"We just really worked on possession and applying what we have been doing in practice," Chariho coach Brittney Godbout said. "We have been working on attacking combinations, switching the field and making it bigger. The girls did a good job of that today."

Emily Seekell, Emma Hughes and Tessa Azzinaro had a goal each. Eva Simmons, Rebekah Sullivan and Ava DiBiasio each contributed an assist.

Johnston is 0-3, 0-3.

Chariho next hosts the Lincoln School on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
