WOOD RIVER JCT. — Seven Chariho High players scored goals and the Chargers qualified for the Division II girls lacrosse tournament with a 12-7 victory over Rogers on Friday.

Mollie Dyer and Emily St. Lawrence finished with three goals and one assist each. Maura Beaudreau added two goals and two assists.

Emma Hughes and Gina Foley each scored a goal and contributed two assists, and Layne Hart and Lindsay Shields finished with a goal and an assist each.

Chariho won 13 of 19 draws.

The Chargers (5-5, 5-5 Division II) have won three of their last five with the losses coming against first-place Westerly and third-place Johnston.

"It's like a roller coaster," Chariho coach Brittney Godbout said. "When we are playing to our potential, it looks very good. But there are moments when we get a little static."

Rogers is 3-7, 3-7.

Chariho closes the regular season Monday at Portsmouth at 7 p.m.
