WOOD RIVER JCT. — Chariho High will host Shea in the preliminary round of the Division II girls basketball tournament on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Chargers (10-10 overall) finished 10-7 in D-II and earned the seventh seed. The Raiders (11-8, 9-8) are seeded 10th. The teams met during the regular season, on Feb. 7, with Chariho winning 63-42.

The winner takes on No. 2 Westerly (15-6, 14-3) in the quarterfinals on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Federico Gym. Westerly received a first-round bye.

Scituate (17-3, 15-2) is the No. 1 seed in the 13-team tournament.
