WESTERLY — Westerly High dropped three spots in the latest Rhode Island Sports Media football poll after its loss to Woonsocket in the Division II playoffs.

The Bulldogs are now No. 14 after losing to Woonsocket, 33-15. The Villa Novans, which were not ranked the week before, are now No. 13.

Division I Bishop Hendricken continues to top the poll with all nine first-place votes. The Hawks face No. 3 Portsmouth on Saturday at noon in the state championship game.

East Greenwich is the top Division II team at No. 6. Pilgrim is the top Division III team at No. 9.

Chariho High did receive votes, but not enough to crack the top 20.
