PROVIDENCE — Madison Dachowski and Laurel McIntosh each had two goals and one assist as the Chariho High field hockey team beat Classical, 5-1, in its season opener Tuesday.

Chariho led the Division III game at the half, 4-0. McKenzie Allen scored Chariho's other goal.

Hannah Smith made six saves for the Chargers. Classical dropped to 0-2, 0-2 Division III.

Chariho next hosts Woonsocket on Tuesday at 4:45 p.m.
