WOOD RIVER JCT. — Chariho High topped Bishop Hendricken, 3-2, in a closely contested Division I boys volleyball match Wednesday.

Chariho won by set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 27-25, 21-25 and 15-13.

Chariho coach Michelle Cunningham-Joost said the Chargers did a good job of digging throughout the match.

It was the Chariho's second win this season against Hendricken (7-5, 7-5 Division I).

The Chargers (6-5, 6-5) next host Mount St. Charles on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
