PROVIDENCE — Finn Weeden and Perry Sabourin each won events as the Chariho High boys indoor track team split a Southern Division meet Monday at the Providence Career & Technical Academy.

Weeden was first in the 3,000 (9:40.87), while Sabourin topped the field in the long jump (19-2). Sabourin also finished third in the high jump (5-2) and the 55 dash (7.25).

Chariho (3-4, 3-4 Southern Division) defeated Westerly, 61-42, but lost to South Kingstown, 78-31.

Alexandro Yaccord finished second in the 55 dash (7.11).

Other third-place finishers were Simon Manlove, 3,000 (9:49.72), Aiden Peppard, 55 hurdles (10.49), Sullivan Cummins, 600 (1:29.51), Josh Smithey, 1,000 (2:48.78) and Ryan Snow, shot put (28-8.5).

Chariho's 4x400 relay team of Weeden, William Steere, Cummings and Matt Power finished third in 3:56.82.

Chariho is off until a league meet on Jan. 23 at PCTA.
