WOOD RIVER JCT. — Tim Champlin of the Chariho High boys track team earned postseason honors for his performances at the Southern Division and Class A championship meets.

Champlin was All-Southern Division second team in the 800 and third team in Class A in the 1,500.

Finn Weeden (3,000) and Kyle Merritt (pole vault) were also second-team All-Southern Division. James Penhallow (1,500) was third team.

Chariho's 4x400 relay team of Matt Dickerman, John Tripodi, Champlin and Penhallow earned third-team Class A honors.

Chariho finished 7-2 during the dual-meet season. The Chargers were fifth at the Southern Division meet and eighth at the Class A meet.
