SEEKONK, Mass. — Wheeler School scored on a penalty kick in the 71st minute and that was the difference in the Warriors' 1-0 win over Chariho in a Division II boys soccer game Monday.

"We played them pretty even," Chargers coach Les Ahearn said. "We had a few chances. They hit the crossbar twice. It was a pretty well-played match."

Goalie Jacob Linacre made six saves for Chariho (0-1-1, 0-1-1 Division II).

Wheeler School improved to 2-0-2, 2-0-2.

Chariho next hosts West Warwick on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
