WOOD RIVER JCT. — Mt. Hope scored seven first-half goals and went on to defeat Chariho, 8-4, in a Division II boys lacrosse game Friday.

Nathan Allamby had two goals for the Chargers (0-5, 0-5 Division II). Rogan Wotherspoon and Even Judkins each added a goal, and Luke Mead had three assists.

The Chargers outshot the Huskies, 21-14, with the bulk coming in the second half. But they were unable to make up much ground after trailing 7-1 at halftime.

Mt. Hope improved to 3-1, 3-1.
