WOOD RIVER JCT. — Chariho High scored five goals in the third quarter, but still lost to unbeaten Portsmouth, 15-7, in a Division II boys lacrosse game Saturday.

Chariho (2-12, 2-11 Division II) trailed 11-2 at the half and 11-7 at the end of three quarters.

Charlie Krause scored three times for the Chargers, and Nathan Allamby contributed two goals and two assists. Rogan Wotherspoon finished with a goal, and Tom O'Horo had an assist.

Goalie Adam Leander made 15 saves. Portsmouth is 13-0, 11-0.

Chariho nexts hosts Wheeler School on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
