PROVIDENCE — Chariho High's Tim Champlin and James Penhallow finished second in two distance races as the Chargers placed fourth at the Class B boys indoor track championships Saturday at the Providence Career & Technical Academy.

Champlin was second in the 1,500 (4:09.38), as was Penhallow in the 3,000 (9:24.13).

Chariho finished with 33 points, while Classical was first among the 12 teams with 165.

Fifth-place finishers were Joe Golas in the 1,000 (2:48.20) and Josh Benros in the high jump (5-4).

Chariho's Sullivan Cummins, Josh Smithey, Joe Golas and Matt Dickerman placed third in the 4x800 relay (8.40.30).

Dickerman, John Tripaldi, Champlin and Penhallow finished third in the 4x400 (3:44.77).
