WOOD RIVER JCT — Moses Brown surged past Chariho High in the second half to post a 51-50 victory in a Division II boys basketball game Friday night.

The Chargers led 27-19 at halftime but were unable to protect the lead.

"Moses Brown played really well," Chariho coach Corey Downey said. "They executed offensively. We missed a couple good looks, and Moses Brown just did a really good job of executing their game plan."

Ryan Allen led Chariho (2-3, 1-2 Division II) with 19 points. Nathaniel Felicetti added five points, five rebounds and eight assists, and Ben Harrison had four points and nine rebounds.

Ben Klein paced Moses Brown (1-4, 1-2) with 14 points.

Chariho next faces host Westerly in the first round of the WCCU Holiday Basketball Tournament on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Downey said he expects Dylan LaBelle, the Chargers' All-Division guard, to play. LaBelle has missed the last three games with an injury.
