CRANSTON — Cam Anderson hit a two-run homer as Chariho High cruised past Cranston East, 14-1, in a Division I baseball game Friday.

Anderson's homer to left field came in a five-run second inning. Anderson finished 2 for 2 with three runs scored.

Chariho also scored six runs in the fifth inning. The game was called after five by the mercy rule.

Ben Harrison pitched all five innings, allowing just three hits while striking out five to earn the win. Harrison was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and a double.

Zack Snow finished 3 for 4 with a double and three runs scored. Sean Sposato had two hits, including a double, John Pellegrino was 2 for 4 with two RBIs, and Dylan LaBelle added two hits.

Chariho (7-9, 6-8 Division I) finished with 13 hits. Cranston East dropped to 6-11, 6-11. Chariho next hosts Coventry on Sunday at noon.
