WOOD RIVER JCT. — Coventry scored the first 12 runs of the game and defeated Chariho High, 21-11, in a Division I baseball game Sunday.

Coventry (8-9, 8-9 Division I) led 12-7 after three innings. Chariho (7-10, 6-9) did cut the deficit to 14-11 after five innings, but Coventry scored seven in the top of the sixth to end the game.

Dylan LaBelle was 3 for 4 with an RBI for Chariho. Zack Snow and Cam Anderson contributed two hits and a double each.

Devin DiBiasio drove in three runs. Starter John Pellegrino took the loss.

Chariho next hosts Bishop Hendricken Monday at 4 p.m.
