WOOD RIVER JCT. — Chariho High senior catcher Cam Anderson was named to the Division I-South first team for the baseball team this past season.
Anderson hit .346 based on results submitted to The Sun. Two games during the season were not reported.
Anderson doubled six times, hit two homers and drove in nine runs.
Anderson, a three-year starter, also scored 14 runs.
Anderson was the only player to receive postseason honors.
Chariho received the sportsmanship award from the state coach's association.
Chariho moved up to Division I this season after winning the Division II title in 2018. The Chargers finished 8-13, falling in the opening round of the Division I tournament.
