NORWALK, Conn. (AP) — Reeds Inc. (REED) on Tuesday reported a loss of $4.5 million in its second quarter.

The Norwalk, Connecticut-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents per share.

The beverage and candy company posted revenue of $9.5 million in the period.

Reeds expects full-year revenue in the range of $35 million to $40 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $3. A year ago, they were trading at $2.90.
