Sometimes we put off what we should not!

I was struggling with my breathing. Instead of going to the ER, I got so comfortable in my “Snoopy and Peanuts” nightgown, I kind of denied the warning signs. My asthma was acting up, and rapidly.

Finally, after two-and-a-half hours I got it under control and went to bed sitting up. You guessed it, next morning I was in the ER.

Moral of the story, we DO have a great hospital here in Westerly. Dr. Lehrach and staff were efficient and caring. I could go on and on about the positives.

So people, when you get a questionnaire in the mail to fill out, do it! Yale New Haven Health System is truly committed to improving care. I’m sure they consider all comments — good or bad. I say “good.”
