My girlfriend is single. Her husband passed two years ago. She longs to get into the dating scene. She wants a man to take her to the movies, dinner, concert, or just a walk in the park.

She is not looking to get married ... been there, done that. She is set in her ways. She does not want a man coming into her life, ruining her routine. What kind of strategy could she use?

She still looks good after school, marriage, childbirth and the death of her folks. Sure there are dating websites. Harmony and Match are two. She would rather meet someone at church, the gym or even line-dancing.

So she dressed up, stepped out and started conversations with a few guys. She became very disgusted. Some didn’t know Dirty Harry from Debbie Harry.

Hark, she went to a neighbor’s funeral last week, and lo and behold, she met a pallbearer. They clicked.

Moral of the story: She has been hanging out at the wrong places.
