standing Letters

In its letter titled, “Region’s congressional delegation says ‘damning document’ is not enough” (The Sun Staff, April 19, 2019), which shows that the Democrats have no intention of ending their “witch hunt” to prove that President Trump colluded with the Russians and obstructed justice. Even after a 2½-year investigation which cost the taxpayers more then $30 million, it’s apparent that the Democrats will try to cling to a couple of alleged wrongdoings with no findings of guilt by the Mueller probe.

Senator Reed, Senator Whitehouse and Congressman Cicillini are lawyers and so are many of their Democrat colleagues in Washington, D.C. I believe that they have known along with Mueller and his team of investigators that from day one this investigation was illegal. They knew that it was started by a few angry self-willed high-level bureaucrats in the Justice Department, the FBI, the CIA and the intel agencies that supported Hillary Clinton, despised Donald Trump and did not want him to be president.

Now, the Democrats and a few Republicans (RINOS) are simply circling their wagons because they know that the investigative report by the U.S. Inspector General’s office is due to be released in the next month or two.

The IG’s investigation is sure to disclose the illegal activities and corruption within the top levels of the Justice Department and FBI. It will probably lead to indictments of several individuals involved with this attack on the integrity of the Office of the President of the United States!

The possible indictments can be seen by anyone who chooses to look. There have been a number of top-level officials involved in this “witch hunt” who have either resigned or been fired, including former FBI director James Comey.

If and when that happens, the Democrats and RINOS in Congress will probably choke on all of the crow that they will have to eat. In addition, I hope they are near a lot of warm water and have plenty of soap because they’ll need it to wash away all of the mud on their faces.
