standing letters

This being the 350th birthday of Westerly, I was wondering if any "Brothers of the Brush" are still around.

Back in 1969, when Westerly's 300th birthday was celebrated, one of The Sun's photographers would go around town and take pictures of guys with beards, mustaches, etc. and put them on the front page of The Sun. Some of these beards and mustaches were of all types and styles.

I thought it would be interesting to see this again.

Editor's note: There are no plans at this time for The Sun to resurrect the "Brothers of the Brush" feature, although readers are always welcome to post selfies of their distinctive facial hair on our Facebook page.
