Name: Angela Smith.

Hometown: Westerly.

Occupation: Retired administrator of The Westerly Medical Center.

Role on Westerly’s 350th committee: Chair of last weekend's Westerly 350th Galas ... a memorable two-night event with a total of 400 people in attendance.

Reason you joined the 350th committee: Because my heart is with this fabulous town we live in. It's a town full of people who are all connected, with some having relatives who go back to the beginning of Westerly. Its a family town ... the best town in Rhode Island. I also want to encourage everyone to attend the events being offered during the year. There really is something for everyone. The grand finale, the light parade, is a family event that will feature 20 floats, all lit up, in the middle of downtown Westerly.

Favorite thing about Westerly: How we continue to become the arts center of Rhode Island with live theater, music, art exhibits, and something for people from all age groups to enjoy.
