WESTERLY — Westerly Public School kindergarten registration, for the school year beginning September 2019, will start on Monday, Jan. 7. Children must be five years of age prior to Sept. 1, 2019 to be eligible for kindergarten entry.

Registration packets can be found on the Westerly Public Schools website at westerly.k12.ri.us/Page/9923. Families may also pick up a registration packet at Tower Street School Community Center, 93 Tower St, or at a neighborhood elementary school.

Families must bring the following documents to their personal appointment:

• Completed registration packet

• Child’s birth certificate

• Child’s current physical and immunization records

• Family proof of residency - This must be in the form of a Westerly tax bill, utility bill, lease or mortgage statement. (An affidavit of residency will be notarized during the appointment.)

All documents must be presented at the time of the registration appointment. To make an appointment, call Christine Miller at 401-348-2792. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated. The student registration office is located at the Tower Street School Community Center.
