Westerly Hospital

Adult volunteers help in our Emergency Department. Candidates must be customer focused, flexible, and willing to work in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment. Tri-County Community Action Agency

Volunteers are needed who can support the food distribution program at 34 Pond St. in Westerly on the last Tuesday of each month. Volunteers are needed between 9 and 10 a.m. to help with packing items for pickup between 1 and 3 p.m. Volunteers are required to undergo criminal background checks. Frank Olean Center in Westerly

Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center

Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center has extended their hours on Thursday evenings and will be open until 7 p.m. and on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. They are looking for volunteers to work once or twice a month in the Food Pantry on either of those two shifts. Beacon Hospice

Beacon Hospice in North Kingstown is seeking local volunteers to visit our hospice patients in the Westerly area. You can help improve the quality of life for patients and caregivers by offering companionship, playing music, reading to the patient and providing caregiver respite. Southern Rhode Island Volunteers

SRIV is looking for an office volunteer to help with its Independent Aging Program. Volunteers are needed for friendly visits (1 hour per week), grocery shopping, food delivery, medical appointment transportation and minor yard/ home repairs.

A museum in Narragansett is looking for docents and volunteers. Docents will preserve and present local history. Volunteers are also needed for maintenance of the building and garden as well as cleaning the building.

A food pantry in North Kingstown needs volunteers to help with food stocking, data entry, taking customers shopping in the pantry and food delivery.
