AAA Northeast is seeking entries for its annual poster and video contest, open to all K-12 students living or attending school in its territory — Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. The contest will be broken into elementary, middle and high school categories.

This year's contest for high school students will require video submissions. Elementary and middle school students are asked to submit a poster. Themes have been chosen by grade level and include pedestrian, bike, child passenger safety, and safe driving practices.

Entries will be judged on a state-by-state basis. First, second and third place winners will be chosen and receive $300, $200, and $100 prizes. All first-place entries will be eligible for an additional $1,000 grand prize. Winners will be announced on April 22.

Poster entries must be postmarked by April 5 and mailed to AAA Northeast, Attention: Public Affairs, 1415 Kellum Place, Garden City, NY 11530. Video entries can be submitted on a flash drive or disk, or emailed to postercontest@aaanortheast.com. Visit AAA.com/postercontest to view the rules and grade-level themes.
