WOBURN, Mass. (AP) — Massachusetts state police are investigating whether another vehicle may have been involved in a motorcycle crash that left a 23-year-old Woburn man dead.

Authorities say Matthew Carr was riding the motorcycle when it crashed just before midnight on Monday in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Woburn.

Police said in a statement that if another vehicle did play a role in the crash, that vehicle did not remain at the scene.

Investigators are asking for anyone who might have witnessed the crash or know something about it to contact the state police barracks in Danvers.

This story has been corrected to show that state police have now set time of crash as just before, rather than just after midnight.
