NORTH STONINGTON — The North Stonington Affordable Housing Committee and Keeping North Stonington Affordable Inc. will sponsor a talk on June 4 by Michael Santoro, director of the Connecticut Office of Housing and Community Development. The talk is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Congregational Church of North Stonington, 89 Main St. Santoro's topic will be "Development of Community-Themed Housing in Small Towns: Opportunities and Challenges."

Community-themed housing strives to accommodate individuals and families to reflect their community and include those who can afford market-based rents as well as those who cannot, including the elderly, those with disabilities, veterans, schoolteachers, first responders and students.
