NORTH STONINGTON — The Board of Education has appointed Allison Reyes as  associate principal of Wheeler Middle and High School. Reyes has been teaching for 20 years, with the last 14 at Wheeler Middle and High School and serving as a program supervisor of the mathematics department.

Reyes’ received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and secondary education from the University of Hartford; a Master of Science degree in research, statistics and measurement from Southern Connecticut State University; and an administrative certification, with an internship at Wheeler, from Sacred Heart University.
