WESTERLY — Dr. Robert Harrison will facilitate a free 90-minute evidence-based QPR Suicide Prevention training on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the hospital’s Henry J. Nardone Conference Center at 25 Wells St. QPR is an abbreviation for question, persuade, refer.

Like CPR, QPR is a simple process anyone can be trained to use to help save the life of someone in crisis, question someone about suicidal thoughts, persuade them to seek help, and refer them for professional assistance. For more information or to register, contact Harrison at 401-316-4134 or robharrison63usna@gmail.com.
