MYSTIC — Randall, Realtors, part of The Randall Family of Companies, has announced the sale of 4 Black Duck Road in Mystic for $2,632,500. The Charlestown-based company said that the price was the highest reported this year in New London County, according to data from the Connecticut Statewide Multiple Listing Service.
Melinda Carlisle of the Randall, Realtors office in Mystic represented both sides of the transaction, which closed on April 8, Randall said.
The waterfront property is on the east side of Masons Island in Stonington and has views of Fishers Island Sound. It has a private dock with deep water access, a heated pool with automatic cover, and a frog pond with stream. It also features geothermal HVAC and solar electric panels.
The 1¾-story, three-bedroom house was built in 2008. The owner of the property was listed in town records as Elizabeth P. White, with an address in Billings, Montana, and it went on the market in April 2018 for $2,990,000, according to Realtor.com price history. The Stonington appraisal is $1,987,000 (with an assessment of $1,390,00), of which $1,001,300 was for the land.
