CHARLESTOWN —The Randall Family of Companies has announced the promotion of Kathy Forrester as executive vice president in charge of marketing and strategic initiatives.
Michael Schlott, president, said that during her time with the Charlestown-based company, Forrester had "built a team that has revolutionized our marketing department. She has also contributed to advancements in many other areas of the organization and her significant input can be felt at every level of our organization.”
Forrester joined the Randall Family of Companies in 2014 as director of marketing, and has expanded the marketing department from two members to eight. In 2017, she directed a companywide, tri-state rebranding effort, oversaw marketing and technology initiatives, and supported four brokerage acquisitions. The company said it achieved record-breaking sales, including $1 billion last year at Kinlin Grover Real Estate on Cape Cod and coastal Massachusetts. Companywide sales have been $7 billion since 2013.
Forrester has been in the marketing business for 30 years and previously worked at The Walt Disney Companies, Talbots, Sotheby's International Real Estate, Kongsberg International Maritime/Hydroid Inc., the Robinson Yesawich and Pepperdine advertising firm, and her own firm, Strategic Marketing Design. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with dual degrees in advertising and graphic design.
She and her husband, Brian, have lived in Sandwich, Mass., for 21 years and have four adult children.
