SRIV is looking for in-office help. Volunteers are needed for in-house grant writing, event planning and office assistance. Community outreach volunteers are also needed to represent SRIV at our promotional tables to help hand out information and answer questions at events.

Meals on Wheels delivery drivers are needed across Washington County. Volunteers are needed to pick up meals and deliver them to homebound seniors. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to work directly with seniors.

PawcatuckNeighborhood Center

Office support volunteers are needed at the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center to greet clients and guests, answer and forward calls, answer questions about the center, distribute paperwork for client needs, light office work and direct questions to appropriate staff person or program area.

Beacon Hospice

Beacon Hospice in North Kingstown is seeking local volunteers to visit our hospice patients in the Westerly area. You can help improve the quality of life for patients and caregivers by offering companionship, playing music, reading to the patient and providing caregiver respite. Tri-CountyCommunityAction Agency

Volunteers are needed who can support the food distribution program at 34 Pond St. in Westerly on the last Tuesday of each month. Volunteers are needed between 9 and 10 a.m. to help with packing items for pickup between 1 and 3 p.m. Volunteers are required to undergo criminal background checks. Westerly Hospital

Adult volunteers help in our Emergency Department. Candidates must be customer focused, flexible, and willing to work in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment.
