Natalie Turco of Westerly attended the 2019 Student Vice President Leadership Summit hosted by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Turco is student vice president of the Alfred University chapter of Phi Kappa Phi.

Raymond Champlin of Westerly received a Master of Science in criminal justice; Sean Comella of Richmond received an Associate of Science in criminal justice; Shawna Edwards of Pawcatuck received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in graphic design communications and Katherine Georgetti of Mystic receive a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from Roger Williams University.

The following local students were named to the dean’s list at New England Institute of Technology for the quarter ending June 2019: Westerly residents Kade Abosso, Katherine Barnas, Giuseppe DeCaro, Alexandra Pappas and Ian Purdy; Charlestown residents Scott Briggs, Bryan Flynn, Danielle Gallup, Daniel Logan and Sasha Nobile; North Stonington resident Matthew Tetreault; Richmond residents Lauren Almeida and Ethan Lapp; Mystic residents J Correira and William Pereira; Wood River Junction resident Michelle Reynolds; West Kingston resident Matthew Sunderland; Exeter residents Tanya Chipman, Riley Patton and Allan Peckham III; Groton residents Mark Francalangia, Khristina Malloy, Joseph Mucerino, Mery Rojas and Isaiah Sebastian; Kingston residents Patrick Herbermann and Chenwei Lu; and West Greenwich resident Katharine Boynton.

Nicholas Lecours of Charlestown was named to the president's list and Morgann Plante, Timothy McLaughlin and Joseph Piccolo of Westerly; Robert Storrs III and Francesca Desantis of  Charlestown; Trinity Lennon and Morgan Lestinsky of  Pawcatuck and Ryan Kilcoyne of  Mystic were named to the dean’s list at Bryant University for the spring 2019 semester. 

Karlisle J. Wilbur of Charlestown was elected by her peers to the 2019-20 SkillsUSA college/postsecondary national officers team at the 56th Annual National Leadership and Skills Conference. Wilbur is a member of the class of 2020 at Johnson & Wales University and a graduate of Chariho Career & Technical High School. She is the daughter of Kerri Reardon and Chris Lyskawa of Charlestown.

Jillian Trager and Meghan Trager of Richmond were named to the dean's list at the University of Rhode Island for the 2019 spring semester. They are the daughters of Chris and Susan Trager of Richmond and granddaughters of Robert and Mary MacVicar of Westerly.

Christian Anderson of Stonington, Carly Campbell of Carolina, Ahna Wright of Ashaway and Derek Byrne of Hope Valley were named to the dean’s list at Worcester Polytechnic Institute for the spring 2019 semester.
