Abigail White of Westerly was named to the dean’s list at the Davis & Henley College of Nursing at Sacred Heart University for the spring 2021 semester.

William Maynard of Westerly was awarded the Rensselaer Medal and scholarship from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Maynard is a rising senior at The Prout School.

Eva Guidone of Westerly and Lucas Mancini of Pawcatuck were named to the high honors list at Pomfret School for the spring 2021 term.

Sydney Tham Clays of Westerly received a Bachelor of Science in marine science safety from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

The following high school graduates received $1000 scholarships from the North End Social Club of Westerly: Elena Murdock, Westerly High School, daughter of Michael and Susan Murdoch; Gabrielle Ross, Stonington High School, daughter of Edward Ross; and Michaela Azzinaro, Chariho High School, daughter of Sam Jr. and Michelle Azzinaro.

The following local students received $1000 scholarships from the Westerly Elks Lodge 678: Alyssa Sammataro, Westerly High School, presented to her by her grandfather Robert SammataroMadison West,  Stonington High School; and Lynsie O’Leary, Chariho High School, presented by her aunt Melissa O’Leary Weber.

Sarah Beverly of Pawcatuck and Sinead Maron of Charlestown were named to the dean’s list at Fairfield University for the spring 2021 semester.

Samantha Kellers of Charlestown received a  Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry from Hood College.

Julianna Rick of Pawcatuck, Anna Mirsky of Stonington, and Jessica Schafer of Mystic were named to the dean’s list at Muhlenberg College for the spring 2021 semester.

The following local students were named to the dean’s list at Endicott College for the spring 2021 semester: Pawcatuck residents Casey Boumenot, majoring in sport management,  daughter of Julie Boumenot and Michael Boumenot; Emma Miller, nursing, daughter of Holly Miller and Christopher Miller; and Liam Wallace, finance, son of Nora Wallace and Mark Wallace; and Charlestown residents Gabriel Felicetti, bioengineering, son of Rosemary Felicetti and Dean Felicetti; and Jenna Roberts, psychology, daughter of Korie Roberts and Kevin Roberts.

Erin Tirrell, branch manager at Dime Bank’s Stonington office, was named a New Leader in Banking by the Connecticut Bankers Association.

Chelsea Groton Bank employees Barbara Curto of Mystic, vice president and marketing manager, and Kristin Zummo of East Lyme, vice president and learning and development manager, were selected as New Leaders in Banking by the Connecticut Bankers Association.
