Miles Schuman of Mystic was named to the dean's list at Emerson College for the spring 2019 semester.

James Waters of Stonington was awarded third place in the fourth grade category in the 14th eesmarts Student Contest by Energize Connecticut. The contest, for Connecticut students in grades K-12, challenges youth to create projects about energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainability.

Malcolm Davidson of Hope Valley gave a presentation of his poetry at the Sakhalin Regional Universal Scientific Library in Yuzhno, Russia, in May. Davidson is the author of “If I could fly” and “Inverted Triangle.”

Steven Christina of Mystic was deployed to Washington, D.C., to provide medical support during the National Peace Officers Memorial Service. Christina serves as a member of the National Disaster Medical System’s Disaster Medical Assistance Team.
