Several local residents, all students at College, made presentations recently at the Lasell College Connected Learning Symposium. Elizabeth Castaldi of Westerly presented "Defiant Footwear: Designing Everyday Shoes to Accommodate Leg and Foot Disabilities," Kaitlyn Whipple of Stonington presented a social justice project, "The Race Card Project" and Dana Sutcliffe of Carolina presented "On Deadline…" The presentations were made under the mentorship of Professor Marie Franklin.

Aaron Lahah of Pawcatuck and Nathaniel Pepler of Hope Valley have been accepted for admission at Delaware Valley University.
Mackenzie Turrisi of North Stonington, a sophomore at Drexel University majoring in music industry with a concentration in recording art and music production, and minoring in business administration and music theory and composition, was named to the dean's list for the winter term. A graduate of Wheeler High School, Turrisi is also a member of Drexel's honor's program.
Alexa Galluci of North Stonington has been inducted into Pi Lambda Theta at Curry College.
