To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the Weekapaug Foundation for Conservation held a "Field of Dreams" gala dinner earlier this summer at Noyes Neck Farm, which was catered by Gourmet Gallery and included music from Anima Players string quartet and a raffle. Several founding members of the foundation attended the dinner, and a special plaque was presented to commemorate the founders, whose vision and dedication has served as the bedrock of the organization that has grown since its inception. The foundation now includes over a thousand acres of green space, including marshes, fields, woodlands and barrier beaches which are habitat for migratory and endangered birds, small mammals, reptiles and dozens of plant species.
