The Ocean State Job Lot in Westerly raised $405 each for Stand Up For Animals and Friends of Westerly Animal Shelter through the company's "To The Rescue" campaign. The fundraiser, conducted through the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation, included a February collection at all stores designed to support local animal welfare and rescue organizations within the communities that Job Lot serves.

It was their first fundraiser of its kind for the company, and the company polled the community and local animal experts, leading to Stand Up For Animals and Friends of Westerly Animal Shelter to be chosen to receive the generous customer donations.
