Kaelyn Comerford, 9, a student at Richmond Elementary School, handmade Grinch Christmas tree ornaments and sold them to raise money for Richmond Animal Control. Kaelyn painted slices of tree branches and glued green hair and santa hats for the ornaments.  During the Christmas holiday, she delivered the proceeds to the folks at the animal control center. Last year she raised $260 selling mousetrap ornaments. Next year she is planning to sell both the mouse traps and Grinch ornaments, in addition to handmade bracelets to make money for the animal shelter.
